Sources and licences
We use only public domain scores, that is works whose licence allows free use. The main sources are:
- CPDL / ChoralWiki: the Choral Public Domain Library.
- IMSLP: a library of public domain scores.
- OpenScore: a lieder corpus under the CC0 licence.
Source and edition
For each piece we give the source and the edition. You will find them on the piece's page and in the video description.
Corrected scores
When we correct a score, we update the player and the piece's page.
Reporting an error
Did you notice a wrong note or word? The player and the piece's page have a “Report an error in the score” link: it opens a ready-written email with the piece and the bar. If you prefer, write to info@voceavoce.com. Include:
- the piece and the voice;
- the bar (or the minute of the video) where the error appears;
- what it should be instead, with the source if you know it.
Instrument sounds
The player's instruments (piano, organ, choir, voice, flute, strings) use samples taken from the GeneralUser GS soundfont by S. Christian Collins, whose licence allows free use, including in software. Author and licence: schristiancollins.com. The licence text ships with the samples.
